Deity Purification & Cleansing Ceremony
(神像净化 / 洗神)
The Deity Purification & Cleansing Ceremony (Xi Shen) is an important annual Taoist ritual for families and businesses with deity statues enshrined at home or on their premises. Traditionally performed on the 23rd or 24th day of the 12th lunar month, the ceremony includes respectfully cleansing the deity statue, replacing the red altar cloth, and refreshing the altar before the Lunar New Year.

Deity Consecration & Installation Ceremony
(开光 + 安神)
A Deity Consecration and Installation Ceremony is an important Taoist ritual for devotees who wish to enshrine a new deity statue at home, in a business, or at a place of worship. Before installation, the deity statue should first undergo a Consecration Ceremony (Kai Guang), a traditional blessing ritual performed to respectfully prepare the statue for worship according to Taoist customs.

Discontinuation of Worship / Deity Removal Ceremony

There is a Chinese saying: "It is easy to invite a deity, but difficult to respectfully send one off." Many devotees have concerns about the proper procedures for discontinuing the worship of a deity.
A deity enshrined in your home should be treated with the utmost respect, like an honoured guest. If, for any reason, you are no longer able to continue worshipping the deity, the deity statue or sacred image should be respectfully removed through the appropriate Taoist rituals. It should never be damaged, discarded, or thrown away.
Our Taoist Master will conduct the appropriate ceremony to ensure the discontinuation of worship is carried out respectfully and in accordance with traditional Taoist practices.

A Groundbreaking Ceremony is a traditional Taoist ritual performed before the construction, renovation, or redevelopment of important projects such as buildings, commercial premises, residential properties, and land developments.
Before work begins, it is customary to consult our Taoist Master to select an auspicious date and time for the ceremony. Once the ritual has been completed, construction or renovation work may proceed with blessings for safety, harmony, and prosperity.
